Ecovert FM aims to ensure a systematic and strategic approach to training and development that
- develops a skilled & knowledgeable workforce, which shares our values and can adapt to change
- ensures equality of opportunity and promotes life-long learning
- meets the Investor in People standard
We seek, wherever possible, to train to nationally recognised standards. Employees have the opportunity to gain qualifications in a wide range of areas such as NVQs, City & Guilds, HNC/HNDs, ACCA, CIMA, CIPD, ILM Management Development, MBAs and so on.
We also encourage staff to take responsibility for their own learning and to widen their skill set as in-house coaches, mentors, trainers and assessors in areas such as NVQ and CIEH. This helps their knowledge to be passed on to others and promotes us as a learning organisation.
An ongoing post-graduate scholarship scheme provides sponsorship and support for those taking further and higher education qualifications.
